The Odds with special guests. 07.19.2019. The Horseshoe Tavern. Toronto

It was an all-star CanCon jam at The Horseshoe Tavern on Friday night. The capacity crowd packed into the sweltering room to rock out to the band performing the 1995 classic “Good Weird Feeling” in its entirety and a whole lot more.

The Odds (Craig Northey, Pat Steward, Doug Elliot and Murray Atkinson) were joined by a few friends, including Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness) Steven Page (Barenaked Ladies) Tom Wilson (Junkhouse, LeE HARVeY OsMOND) and Chris Murphy and Jay Ferguson (Sloan).

After his Induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in March at the 2019 JUNO Awards, Hart has released his new EP “Dreaming Time Again” and embarked on his first world tour in over 20 years. The Never Surrender Tour made a Toronto stop at Budweiser Stage on June 14th, 2019 along with Glass Tiger and A Flock of Seagulls

The phenomenon that is the Lizzo “Cuz I Love You’ tour experience touched down in Toronto at Danforth Music Hall last night. If you missed it you might have a chance of catching her on the second leg of the tour back in Toronto on September 19th at Budweiser Gardens. Yup, 2019 has blown up huge for the MPLS singer/rapper and rightly so!

I am lucky to have had the chance to capture this show up close and personal in the relatively intimate environment.
